About me
From live television to the fundraising room
Twenty years on the mic, over £10 million raised for good causes, and I still get the same buzz I got on night one. Here’s the story.

The short version
I’m Kevin Durham, professional charity auctioneer, event host and TV presenter. My first charity event, back in 2005, put me on a stage alongside Annie Lennox. No pressure, then. That night set the standard for how I’ve wanted every event to feel since.
Over two decades I’ve gone from television and comedy film work to full-time fundraising rooms, and honestly, I’ve never found a better feeling than making a difference on a sizeable scale. I work across the UK, Europe and the United States, from intimate charity dinners to a Monaco evening that raised over €1 million. Off duty I’m a dad first, I stay virtually teetotal on the night, and my kids remain heroically unimpressed by the Monaco story.

What makes me different from other charity auctioneers?
The entertainment background. I presented for Fox, Warner and Universal, interviewing the likes of Tom Hardy, Reese Witherspoon and Robin Williams, and I worked as a comedy film actor and producer before auctioneering. I even came within a whisker of my own Comedy Central show. Reading and holding an audience is my trade, and it’s why donors stay engaged and the bidding keeps climbing.
It also means I bring more than bid-calling. On the same night I can host the programme, run the pledge, and lay on a full entertainment package of games and comedy. Most charity auctioneers do one of those things. I do all of them, from one microphone.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Who is Kevin Durham?
I’m a professional charity auctioneer, event host and TV presenter. I’ve raised over £10 million for good causes across a 20-year career, including over €1 million in a single Monaco evening, and I work across the UK, Europe and the US.
What makes a charity auctioneer worth hiring?
A professional reads and drives the room, so the bidding climbs and the pledge lands. The difference shows up in your final total, not just the atmosphere, and it usually outweighs the fee many times over. I would say that, of course. My reviews page says it for me.
Where does Kevin work?
Across the UK, Europe and the United States, from intimate charity dinners to large-scale international galas. If the room matters to you, I’ll travel to it. If the room matters to you, I’ll travel to it.
