This Privacy Policy explains how Kevin Durham, trading as The Charity Auctioneer (“I”, “me”, “my”), collects, uses and protects your information when you visit thecharityauctioneer.uk (the “Site”). My legal basis for this processing is your consent (where you contact me voluntarily), the steps needed to enter into a contract with you (if you book my services), and my legitimate interest in running and improving this website. Your information is only used for the purposes above and is kept confidential.

This Site uses a small number of cookies and third-party services to function properly:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — loads the typefaces used on the Site

  • cdnjs (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — loads animation libraries used for on-page effects

  • Basic, privacy-friendly visitor analytics, used only to understand how the Site is used

Loading these resources means your browser makes a request to Google’s and Cloudflare’s servers, which may log your IP address under their own privacy policies. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by me. You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings.

Sharing your information

I do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. I may share basic information with trusted service providers — such as website hosting or email delivery — only to operate the Site effectively, and only under confidentiality obligations. I will also disclose your information if required to do so by law.

How long I keep your information

Enquiry details are kept only for as long as needed to respond to you and follow up on a possible booking, and are then deleted, typically within 24 months. If your enquiry becomes a confirmed booking, I keep the related contract and correspondence for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes.

I take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
