Real nights, real numbers
More than doubled targets, event after event: £57,600 for the Jigsaw Trust, over €1 million in Monte Carlo, and £84,108 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Kevin has raised over £10 million for charitable causes. Here is a selection of the events behind that number, each with the story of what actually happened on the night, and the video to go with it.

Sheba Medical Center · Monte Carlo · over €1,000,000
Over €1 million raised in a single evening
Against the glittering backdrop of the Yacht Club in Monte Carlo, Kevin hosted a landmark charity auction for the Sheba Medical Center. Guests from around the world came together for one cause, and an evening of generosity, humour and high-stakes bidding unfolded.
From rare artwork to once-in-a-lifetime experiences, every lot told a story, and together the room raised over €1 million in a single night.

Jigsaw Trust · £14k target · £57,600 raised
Briefed for £14,000, the night raised £57,600
Kevin was initially briefed to aim for £14,000 from the live auction. By the end of the night the room had more than doubled that, raising £27,000 from the auction alone.
He encouraged the team to add a live pledge, which brought in a further £30,600. Add the raffle, the silent auction, and a set of paintings by children from the Jigsaw School that raised £4,000, and the evening reached £57,600. The right storytelling turns even the simplest lots into major wins.

Teenage Cancer Trust · £40k target · £84,108 raised
A £40,000 target, and £84,108 on the night
At OCU Group’s annual gala for the Teenage Cancer Trust, Kevin hosted and ran a high-energy auction that kept the room engaged from start to finish. He introduced a live pledge, run alongside a representative from the charity, which created a genuine emotional connection and inspired guests to give.
By the close, OCU had more than doubled their goal, raising £84,108.
“Without your input and amazing hosting we definitely wouldn’t have achieved the total. We absolutely smashed our £40k target.” — Lisa, event chair

Manchester Airport Group · 400 guests · triple the previous year
Three times the previous year, under Concorde
The Manchester Airport Group held their gala inside an aircraft hangar, beneath the wing of Concorde, with over 400 guests and live music from Scouting for Girls.
As auctioneer and host, Kevin guided the room through an evening of heartfelt stories and high-energy bidding wars. The night finished on a record-breaking total, triple the amount raised the year before.

Spear Islington · biggest total yet
Fresh energy that lifted their biggest total yet
Spear Islington wanted to move past the formal caution of previous years and genuinely inspire generosity. Working closely with the trustees, Kevin focused on real connection: mingling with guests beforehand, then sharing the right stories at the right moments during the pledge to reignite momentum.
The result was their biggest fundraising total to date.

Temwa · a new record
A new fundraising record, and an invitation back
Working with Temwa for the first time, the goal was to do more than read out lots. Collaborating in the weeks beforehand, Kevin shifted the focus from a standard auction to a structured fundraising event the team called more professional than ever.
A live pledge, which the organisers were initially nervous about, connected the room to specific projects and unlocked a new stream of giving. The night set a new record, and Kevin has been invited back.
What did these successful events have in common?
They planned the fundraising before the night, not on it. In every case the lots were chosen and sequenced deliberately, a structured live pledge was added, and one person carried the energy of the room from the welcome to the close. That combination is what turns a good evening into a record one.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much can a charity auction raise?
It depends on the room, the lots and the structure, but the difference a professional makes is large. Kevin has helped a single Monaco gala raise over €1 million, and regularly helps events double their target, with one raising it tenfold.
What makes a charity event raise more?
Planning the fundraising before the night. Choosing and sequencing the right lots, structuring the pledge, and having one person hold the room’s energy from start to finish is what separates a record night from an average one.
Can you share references from past events?
Yes. Alongside the case studies and reviews on the site, Kevin is happy to put you in touch with past clients when you are considering a booking.
